USA vs IND, T20 World Cup 2024: Suryakumar Yadav's Wife Devisha Shetty's breathed a sigh of relief after Saurabh Netravalkar dropped a crucial catch of the India batter.
Suryakumar Yadav, the world's number 1 T20I batter, saw India home against co-hosts United States of America (USA) in their group-stage fixture of the T20 World Cup 2024. Suryakumar scored 50* off 49 as India beat USA by 7 wickets. However, during a crucial phase of India's run-chase, the star batter failed to find the desired connection on a ball which went up in the air with fielder Saurabh Netravalkar coming under it.
However, Netravalkar failed to take the catch, dropping what could be termed an easy chance gauging by the World Cup standards. As soon as Netravalkar dropped the catch, the Indian fans breathed a sigh of relief. Suryakumar Yadav's wife Devisha Shetty also wore that expression as she witnessed his catch getting dropped.

The incident happened in the 13th over of India's innings. Had the catch been taken, USA could have exerted further pressure on India and come closer to pulling off another upset but that wasn't to be.

India Secure Place In Super 8s Of T20 World Cup 2024
With 3 out of 3 wins in the group-stage of the T20 World Cup, India have secured a place in the Super Eight stage of the competition. They still have a group-stage match remaining as they are scheduled to face Canada in their last group-stage match in Florida.
