Kurla Warehouse Fire: Massive Blaze Guts Scraping Unit, Area Evacuated, No Casualties
In Mumbai’s Kurla area, a massive fire broke out inside a scrap warehouse where scrap work was being carried out. The blaze spread rapidly due to the flammable materials stored inside. The fire brigade and the gate team reached the spot immediately, and considering the danger, nearby areas were evacuated and the electricity supply was cut off. After several hours of effort, firefighters managed to bring the fire under control. There is no report of any casualties, but the goods stored inside the warehouse were completely destroyed, leading to fears of a major financial loss.
