How can Pakistan qualify for Super 8 in ICC T20 World Cup 2024?

To qualify for Super 8 in ICC T20 World Cup 2024, Pakistan needs to beat Ireland by a big margin on June 16. A loss against Ireland will result in Pakistan's elimination from the tournament and Super 8 stage. Also, Pakistan will benefit if USA loses their next match against Ireland on June 14.

Pakistan improved their Net Run Rate (NRR) by winning against Canada, and they need to ensure their victory margin against Ireland is larger than the margin by which USA lost to Ireland.

Lastly, Pakistan would prefer India defeats Canada. In case India fails to win against Canada, something which is unlikely to happen, Pakistan must ensure their net run rate remains superior to Canada’s at the end of group stage games.
