In normal circumstances, Dhawan would currently be playing in in IPL 2020 for franchise Delhi Capitals but the cash-rich T20 League has been postponed indefinitely by the BCCI due to COVID-19 pandemic. A few days back, during a rapid-fire round with former Indian bowler Irfan Pathan on an Instagram Live video session, Dhawan named Dhoni as his favourite captain and fellow opening partner Rohit Sharma as his most sought after batting partner in international cricket.
