Recently, when a Pakistani journalist questioned him—asking if he would still refuse to play if India and Pakistan meet again in a semi-final of WCL tournament—Dhawan’s response was direct and unapologetic.
He replied, “Bhai sahab, you’re asking the wrong person. If you think I’ll change my words under pressure, that won’t happen. I didn’t play earlier, and I won’t play now either.”
