PAK vs BAN: Match Tickets Cheaper Than 'Ek Samosa', Social Media Users Mock Pricing

PCB has struggled to fill stands at past events, including the Pakistan Super League (PSL). It appears that the very low-ticket prices are an attempt to attract larger crowds.

The Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) is facing heavy trolling on social media for the extremely low ticket prices for the upcoming Test series between Pakistan and Bangladesh, starting August 21 at the Rawalpindi Cricket Stadium. On Monday, PCB announced that tickets for PAK vs BAN Test series will be available at very affordable rates, with the cheapest ticket priced at just Rs. 15 (PKR 50).

Trolls, especially from India, humorously pointed out that Rs. 15 in India would barely buy a samosa. A popular comment circulating on social media reads, "Itne ka toh idhar 1 samosa aata hai."

The PCB has struggled to fill stands at past events, including the Pakistan Super League (PSL). It appears that the very low-ticket prices are an attempt to attract larger crowds.

Veteran all-rounder Shakib Al Hasan has returned to the Bangladesh Test cricket team, with Nazmul Hasan Shanto appointed as the new captain.

Bangladeshi contingent have arrived in Lahore for PAK vs BAN Test series. They will train for three days each at Gaddafi Stadium in Lahore and Rawalpindi Cricket Stadium before the series opener in Rawalpindi.
