MSK Prasad severely trolled on Twitter for conducting ‘Pitch Puja’

The reports mentions that Prasad and the Andhra Cricket Association (ACA) officials believed that the Puja could help team India pull off the second match in Visakhapatnam

It seems that the unseen powers did not help the Indian squad despite of the rituals conducted by Chief Selector MSK Prasasd. According to a report in Times of India, Chairman of Selectors MSK Prasad conducted a "pitch puja" with some of the officials and ground staff. The reports mentions that Prasad and the Andhra Cricket Association (ACA) officials believed that the Puja could help team India pull off the second match in Visakhapatnam on Wednesday.

However, all his efforts went in vain as the visitors made a strong comeback in the five-match ODI series by attaining a draw in the second ODI. Hope saved Windies from their second defeat in the series by hitting Umesh Yadav for a boundary, as the visiting team need 14 runs off the last over.

Furthermore, they went on to register their first victory of the tour by 43 runs in Pune by leveling the series 1-1. In the meantime, Prasad’s actions were severely trolled on the social media platform Twitter.

Here are some reactions…
