Lok Sabha Election Results 2019: Indian cricketers congratulate PM Modi on record victory

The Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) scripted history on Thursday as Prime Minister Narendra Modi led them to a super-sized victory for a second term in office. His message of nationalism, security, Hindu pride and a New India was wholeheartedly embraced by voters across large swathes of the country. Modi led his party to a thumping victory for the second time, winning an absolute majority and on course to touch the 300-seat mark in the 543-member Lok Sabha. While millions of Twitterati showered wishes on the Indian Prime Minister for the historic victory, people from the Indian cricketing fraternity took to their social media accounts to congratulate him.
