Legends Cricket Trophy 2024: Colombo Lions continue their dismal run in the ongoing Legends Cricket Trophy 2024, as the franchise have lost their fourth game in a row and sit winless in the newly-introduced 90Ball format. Electing to bowl first, Punjab Royals did justice to their call by bowling extremely well at the Pallekele International Cricket Stadium in Pallekele, as the side got rid of dangerous Jesse Ryder. The Punjab Royal side cruised to the target in just 12.2 overs, thanks to fearsome knocks off Tillakaratne Dilshan and Dilshan Munaweera, as their vital 40's saw the side chase down the target to register an eight-wicket win and move to fourth in the points table.
