James Anderson Takes His 1000th Wicket In First-Class Cricket

James Anderson has completed 1000 wickets in first-class cricket. Playing for Lancashire in the County Championship tournament, Anderson reached another milestone by taking his 1000th wicket.

England's pace bowler James Anderson has done a great job by taking 1000 wickets in first-class cricket. The 38-year-old Anderson bowled while playing for Lancashire in the County Championship tournament and touched the 1,000-wicket mark.

Actually, Anderson bowled wonderfully against Kent and managed to take 5 wickets. Anderson becomes the first fast bowler to reach the figure of 1000 wickets in first-class cricket after 2005. In 2005, Andy Caddick managed to take 1000 wickets in first-class cricket. At the same time, playing against Kent, Anderson took 7 wickets for 19 runs in 10 overs.

Anderson has 617 wickets in Test cricket
