IPL 2019: Rishabh Pant unveils Delhi Capitals team jersey before official launch

While DC’s official jersey launch is still awaited, wicketkeeper-batsman Rishabh pant seemed to have revealed the same on his Instagram account

The twelfth edition of the Indian Premier League (IPL) is a few weeks away and the Delhi franchise is all set to try out their luck with a revamped look. Delhi Capitals (previously Delhi Daredevils)—the team not only got a new name but also a new anthem, a new skipper and a new logo. They even bought a bunch of talented cricketers in the recently held player auctions to strengthen the pool they were left with.

But, above all, the existing 1.31 million fans (as per the Twitter count) are still figuring out how the team jersey would look like.

While DC’s official jersey launch is still awaited, wicketkeeper-batsman Rishabh pant seemed to have revealed the same on his Instagram account. On Wednesday, Pant shared a picture on his social media story where he could be seen wearing blue-coloured jersey which is carrying the franchise logo along with that of the sponsors.

He could be seen with a spot boy which depicts he was probably attending some ad shoot.

Here’s the post

It’s yet to be confirmed that this only would be the DC team jersey but going by Pant’s outfit in the photo, it can be assumed that this is it.

About Delhi Capitals

On December 4, the Delhi Daredevils renamed themselves as Delhi Capitals. The new name originates from an identity that's exclusive to Delhi—the capital of India. They will compete in the 12th season of the Indian Premier League under the guidance of head coach Ricky Ponting, assistant coach Mohammad Kaif, bowling coach James Hopes and captain Shreyas Iyer.
