For the first time ever, Asia Cup 2023 will be organized under a hybrid model, in which 4 matches will be hosted by Pakistan and the remaining 9 games will be held in Sri Lanka. Arch-nemesis India and Pakistan are part of Group-A in Asia Cup 2023.
Asia Cup 2023 final will be played on 17th September, 2023. The tournament will begin with a match between Pakistan and Nepal on 30th August. Keeping in mind 2023 ODI World Cup in India, Asia Cup 2023 tournament will be played in the 50-overs format. The 6 teams participating in Asia Cup 2023 have been divided in two groups - Group A & B. The third team in Group A along with India and Pakistan is Nepal, which makes it almost impossible for the underdogs to qualify for Super-4. Sri Lanka, Bangladesh and Afghanistan are in Group-B.
After their match on September 2, it is highly likely that India will square off against Pakistan in Super-4s on 10th September. After this, if both the teams qualify for Asia Cup 2023 finals, then on September 17, the two nations will lock horns for the third time in a month.
