Ingredients

  • 1.5 Cup Biscuit Crumbs
  • 1 Cup Granulated Sugar
  • 0.5 Cup Unsalted Butter (melted)
  • 620 Gram Cream Cheese
  • 3 Piece Egg
  • 1 Teaspoon Vanilla Extract
  • 1 Cup Sour Cream or Heavy Cream

Cooking Instructions

Step 1

Preheat your oven to 325°F. Take a cake pan, grease it and line the bottom with parchment paper.

Step 2

Take a bowl and mix the biscuits, sugar, and melted butter together. Stir until it forms a binding texture for the base of the cheesecake.

Step 3

Put the mixture in the cake pan and press it gently to form an even crust at the bottom. Use a flat bottom cut or a spoon to get the smooth texture.

Step 4

Bake the crust in preheated oven for about 10 minutes. Once done, take it out and cool it down.

Step 5

To make the filling, take a large bowl and beat cream cheese in it till its smooth and creamy.

Step 6

After that, add in sugar gradually. Once its mixed, add eggs and beat it gently. Add in vanilla extract and sour cream to the mixture and mix till its smooth and creamy.

Step 7

Pour the cheesecake filling over the cooled crust and make sure that it evenly spreads out.

Step 8

To prevent cracks in it, wrap the outside of the cake an with 2 layers of aluminum foil and place it in a pan filled with hot water.

Step 9

Bake for about 50 minutes at 325°F. Once done, take the cheesecake out carefully and let it cool down. After that refrigerate it to enhance the flavour of the cake.

Step 10

You can add your choice of toppings to the cheesecake and then serve it.
