IND vs WI, 3rd T20I: West Indies Opt To Bowl; India Make 2 Major Changes

West Indies are going unchanged. India have made two changes - Mohammed Shami replaces Ravindra Jadeja while Kuldeep Yadav replaces comes in for Yuzvendra Chahal

With the series tied at 1-1, both India and West Indies will aim to come out with the final punch and outclass each other when they battle it out in the third and final T20I, at the Wankhede Stadium on Wednesday evening. After winning the first T20I clinically, the men-in-blue came out with a dismal performance in all the three departments in the Thiruvananthapuram game, especially while bowling and fielding. For the visitors, it would be all about continuing with what they have been doing in the first two matches. Toss Update: Kieron Pollard has won the toss and West Indies will be bowling first. The visitors are going unchanged for tonight's decider. “We're gonna field first. Obviously here, dew plays a factor when you bat second. It's a new wicket, hopefully, we can restrict them to a chaseable total. I think it was a good performance (in the last game). We're always looking to improve and there are a couple of areas to improve on. It's a fresh wicket and hopefully, our guys can make use of it with the new ball. We're unchanged,” said Pollard at the toss. On the other hand, India have two major changes to the playing XI. Shami comes in to play a T20 international after two years and will replace Ravindra Jadeja. Kuldeep Yadav comes in for Yuzvendra Chahal. “I think it's a great wicket to score runs. We have been tentative while batting first. T20 cricket goes that way. We were about 15 runs short (in the last game). Fielding is an important part in this format. If we had taken our chances, things could have been different. As a batsman, you try to get into your zone first. This is a ground where you can always catch up. Those who get a fifty, need to ensure that they carry on and score those extra 25 runs for the side,” said Kohli. Here are the teams: India: Rohit Sharma, Lokesh Rahul, Virat Kohli(c), Rishabh Pant(w), Shreyas Iyer, Shivam Dube, Washington Sundar, Bhuvneshwar Kumar, Kuldeep Yadav, Deepak Chahar, Mohammed Shami West Indies: Lendl Simmons, Evin Lewis, Brandon King, Nicholas Pooran(w), Shimron Hetmyer, Kieron Pollard(c), Jason Holder, Khary Pierre, Hayden Walsh, Sheldon Cottrell, Kesrick Williams
