IND vs SL Colombo weather update: India aims for clinching their 8th Asia Cup title as they take on defending champions Sri Lanka in Sunday's blockbuster summit clash at R Premadasa stadium in Colombo. As per latest weather update, at present, there are no signs of rainfall in Colombo and fans can expect a full-fledged final match. The sky was clear and bright in the morning. Notably, almost every match in Asia Cup 2023 has been affected by weather. The tournament has reached its conclusion despite threat of persistent rain due to delayed monsoon in Sri Lanka, which even curtailed a few games of the tournament and the threat still looms large in IND vs SL Asia Cup 2023 Final.

According to the Accuweather, there will be overcast conditions in Colombo on Sunday. That means the sky will remain cloudy. The capital city of Sri Lanka, Colombo, witnessed rains in some parts in the morning and there is a high possibility of rain in the afternoon also. According to reports, there is a 90 percent chance of rain in Colombo today and a 54 percent chance of thunderstorms.

Thunderstorms are expected at 10 am, 1 pm, 6 pm, 8 pm and 10 pm. IND vs SL Asia Cup 2023 Final match will start at 3 pm IST and if the rain kicks in at that time, the start of the match will be delayed.

3 pm: Probability of rain - 49 percent
4 pm: Probability of rain - 49 percent
5 pm: Probability of rain - 49 percent
6 pm: Probability of rain - 61 percent
7 pm: Probability of rain - 49 percent
8 pm: Probability of rain - 57 percent

Tickets sold out amid rain threat

"Tickets for the finals of the Asia Cup 2023 have been sold out. Hence, the public is advised not to arrive at ticket counters or the ground to purchase tickets to watch the epic final between Sri Lanka and India. The ones who have purchased tickets to watch the final are advised to arrive early in order to avoid congestion. The gates at RPICS, Colombo, will be opened at 12 p.m. today for the public with tickets to enter the ground," confirmed Sri Lanka Cricket on X.
