IND vs AUS 2nd Test, Day 2: Indian batting begins after Australia were bowled out for 326 in the first session

Hello and welcome to the live coverage of day 2 of the India vs Australia 2nd Test at Optus Stadium in Perth. Australia won the toss on day 1 and elected to bat first. The Indian bowlers toiled hard for wickets throughout the day. Especially in the first session where the Aussies had a terrific start and the openers produced a 100-plus run stand for the opening wicket.

Half-centuries from Marcus Harris (70), Travis Head (58) and Aaron Finch (50) made the task easy for the Aussies as they amassed a healthy total of 277 runs at a loss of 6 wickets. Skipper Tim Paine (16) and Pat Cummins (11) were at the crease and will resume the play today.

On the second day, the Indian bowlers will look to wrap up the Australian innings as soon as possible so that they could get enough time to bat on this terrific track and look to take a lead.
