ICC T20 World Cup 2021 Schedule OUT! Mega Event To Be Held From Oct 17 - Nov 14. Check Full Time Table

ICC T20 World Cup 2021 Schedule: The International Cricket Council on Tuesday announced the ICC T20 World Cup 2021 schedule which will be held between 17 October and 14 November in Oman and UAE.

New Delhi: The International Cricket Council on Tuesday announced the ICC T20 World Cup 2021 schedule which will be held between 17 October and 14 November in Oman and UAE. 

Round 1

As per the announced schedule, the tournament will begin with the Round 1 matches comprising Group A and B. Group B encounter between hosts Oman and Papua New Guinea will be held at 2pm local time on 17 October, with Scotland and Bangladesh, the other teams in Group B, clashing in the evening match at 6pm.  

Ireland, Netherlands, Sri Lanka and Namibia - making up Group A - will be in action in Abu Dhabi the next day, with Round 1 matches running till 22 October. The top two teams in each group will proceed to the Super12 stage of the tournament, beginning on 23 October.  

Round 2 (Super 12)

The second round of the tournament – the Super12 stage – will get underway in Abu Dhabi on 23 October. A clash between Australia and South Africa of Group-1 will flag off the second round, followed by an evening clash between England and West Indies in Dubai. The group will conclude on 6 November. 

Group 2 will commence with a heavyweight clash between India and Pakistan in Dubai on 24 October. The group will conclude on 8 November, with India taking on the second-placed Round 1 qualifier from Group A.  

Semi-Final & Final

The first semi-final will be held in Abu Dhabi on 10 November at 6pm local time. The second semi-final will be hosted by Dubai on 11 November. Both semi-finals have reserve days.

The marquee clash of the tournament will take place in Dubai at 6pm local time on 14 November, Sunday, with Monday acting as the reserve day for the final. 

India's Schedule In T20 World Cup 

India will kich-off its campaign underway on October 24 against Pakistan in Group 2. The tournament was set to take place in India but had to be moved due to COVID-19 hassles. 

  • 24th October : India Vs Pakistan 
  • 31st October : India Vs New Zealand 
  • 3rd November : India vs Afghanistan 
  • 5th November : India vs Qualifier 
  • 8th November : India vs Qualifier 
  • 10 th and 11th November: Semi Finals 
  • 14th November : Final
