Five Players With Double Tons In Both Tests And ODIs – 4 Of Them Are Indians!

Sachin Tendulkar, in 2010, became the first player to score a double century in ODIs. Since then, only four other players have managed to reach the 200-run mark in both formats of the game.

Scoring a double century is one of the greatest achievements for any batter in international cricket. Doing it in either Test or ODI formats is impressive, but only a handful of players have managed this rare feat in both formats.

Remarkably, out of the five cricketers who have achieved this milestone, four are from India – highlighting the nation's dominance in batting over the years.

In the early days of one-day internationals, a 200-run total by an entire team was considered a big achievement. But that perception changed forever in 2010, when Sachin Tendulkar created history by becoming the first player to score a double century in ODIs, stunning the cricketing world. Already a legend with multiple double centuries in Tests, Sachin set a new benchmark in modern cricket.

Since then, only four other players have managed to reach the 200-run mark in both formats of the game. Remarkably, four out of these five iconic players are from India.
