DPL 2024 Updated Points Table After Central Delhi Kings vs Purani Dilli 6 Match On August 23

Here's a look at the updated points table of the Delhi Premier League (DPL) 2024 after the Central Delhi Kings (CDK) vs Purani Dilli 6 (PD) match.

The Delhi Premier League (DPL) 2024 is in full swing and has already seen some thrilling affairs in the course of its nine matches that have been played so far. The most recent match of the DPL 2024 featured Central Delhi Kings (CDK) going up against Purani Dilli 6 (PD). CDK won by the huge margin of 109 runs and it helped them shoot into the top four in the DPL 2024 points table.

PD, on the other hand, slipped to the last spot after the damaging loss. East Delhi Riders (EDR) lead the DPL 2024 points table and South Delhi Superstars (SDS) are positioned second, followed by CDS and North Delhi Strikers (NDS).

Coming to the CDK vs PD, DPL 2024 match, Purani Dilli captain Lalit Yadav won the toss and elected to field first. Batting first, Central Delhi began their innings shakily as they lost Yash Dhull early. However, efforts from Dhruv Kaushik, skipper Jonty Sidhu and Aryan Rana, who played a blinder of an innings by scoring 75 runs off jsut 38 balls, helped the team to post the total of 217-7 after 20 overs. 

Chasing a big total, Purani Dilli got off to a poor start as they lost their openers cheaply. CDK's Sumit Kumar did not let the PD batters settle as he bagged a four-fer along with the help of Money Grewal and Jonty Sidhu who claimed thre wickets each. Purani Dilli eventually collapsed for just 108 runs in 12.1 overs, losing the match by 109 runs.
