Unfortunately, some people are making fun of Babar Azam by watching this video half, so a special request for those people, watch this full video and feel a little ashamed.#BabarAzam #BabarAzam𓃵 pic.twitter.com/wUhZ15u4UH
This incident comes after Babar's less-than-stellar performances during Pakistan's recent Australia tour, where he scored 37, 15*, and 28* in the three-match ODI series and recorded 3, 3, and 41 runs in the T20 series. While Pakistan secured a 2-1 victory against Australia in ODIs, they suffered a 3-0 clean sweep in the T20 series.
Babar Azam was left out of T20 series against Zimbabwe, but he has now been included for all three formats—Test, ODI, and T20—in the upcoming series against South Africa. Pakistan is hopeful for a strong performance from him during this tour, with expectations for the star batter to return to form.
Pakistan sets new world record
Pakistan has set a new world record by becoming the first team to play 250 T20 International matches. Out of these, Pakistan has won 145 matches. India follows closely with 242 T20Is and 165 victories.
The record-breaking achievement came after Pakistan's dominant performance against Zimbabwe, where they won by 10 wickets. Sufiyan Muqeem shone with the ball, taking five wickets and dismissing Zimbabwe for just 57 runs. Sam Ayub's quickfire 36 off 18 balls then guided Pakistan to the target of 58 runs in just 5.3 overs.
