Ayush Mhatre Receives Special Gift From Rohit Sharma

The Indian Under-19 cricket team is set to embark on a tour of England under the captaincy of Ayush Mhatre.

The squad includes several exciting talents, notably Vaibhav Suryavanshi, who impressed during the recent IPL season. Before leaving for the tour, Ayush Mhatre had a memorable meeting with India’s senior team captain Rohit Sharma, who gave the young skipper a heartfelt parting gift.

During their interaction, Rohit presented a signed bat to Ayush as a token of encouragement and support. The moment was captured in a photo that Mhatre later shared on social media, where the two can be seen wearing matching black T-shirts and smiling for the camera.

Rohit also placed a warm, encouraging hand on Mhatre’s shoulder in the picture.

India U-19 Tour of England: Full Schedule

The India U-19 team’s tour will officially begin on June 24 with a 50-over warm-up match. Following this, the team will play a five-match ODI series and then a two-match red-ball series against England U-19.

2nd ODI – June 30

3rd ODI – July 2

4th ODI – July 5

5th ODI – July 7

Multi-Day Series

1st Match – July 12–15

2nd Match – July 20–23

This tour is expected to be a vital stepping stone for several young Indian players aiming to transition into senior-level cricket. Mhatre and Suryavanshi, in particular, will be under the spotlight as they look to make their mark in English conditions.
