Legendary cricketer Rohit Sharma announced his retirement from Test cricket on Wednesday, May 7, and the decision has drawn reactions from cricket fraternity, which is filled with heartfelt tributes and admiration.

'The Hitman' made his Test debut in 2013 & went on to represent India in 67 matches, amassing 4,301 runs at an average of 40.57. The elegant right-hander from Mumbai registered 12 centuries and 18 fifties, with a career-best 212 against South Africa in 2019. As captain, Rohit led India in 24 Tests, guiding the side to 12 wins, nine defeats and three draws.
