Recently, Dhoni attended the trailer launch of his production's first film- LGM alongside his wife Sakshi in Chennai. Dhoni has invested his many businesses including the entertainment sector as he launched his own production house called- Dhoni Entertainment Pvt Ltd and 'LGM' will be their first movie.
Earlier, in the last IPL, MS Dhoni led the team from the front, helping CSK to their fifth Indian Premier League trophy after outplaying Hardik Pandya-led Gujarat Titans. It was predicted that Dhoni would soon announce his retirement from IPL after last season but then the Ranchi-based player left a hint that if his body permits, he might return to take part in IPL 2024.
"Circumstantially, this is the best time to announce my retirement. But the amount of love I have received all over, the easy thing would be to walk away from here, but the harder thing would be to work hard for nine months and try to play another IPL. It would be a gift from me, won't be easy on the body," Dhoni had said in the post-match interview after winning the last IPL final.
