Confident India eye 2-0 lead against struggling Windies
Antigua [West Indies], June 30 (ANI): Team India will today face a lack-lustre West Indies in the third ODI at the Sir Vivian Richards Stadium in Antigua with an aim to take a 2-0 lead in the five-match series.
After the opening game was washed out, the Men in Blue came out with a comprehensive-overall performance and registered a massive 105-run win over the hosts.
West Indies have strengthened their batting line-up by adding two more batsmen, Kyle Hope and wicketkeeper-batsman Sunil Ambris, in their squad.
All the controversy related to former coach Anil Kumble doesn't seem to have an effect on Indian captain Virat Kohli, who has insisted that his team is currently entirely focussing on their ongoing limited-overs series and not on anything else.
"Right now, we have series at hand and this is what we are focused on. The process is taking place. That is something which is in control of the BCCI. The process is always in place. We, as a team, are focussing on the series right now. We will not focus on anything else at the moment. Our priority is coming here and winning this series and preparing for the game that lies ahead of us," the 28-year-old had said.
