Importance Of Sattu On Vaishakh Amavasya

What To Do On Vaishakh Amavasya?

  • On Amavasya, take a holy dip in a sacred river. After the bath, make sure to perform charity and donations by the riverside.
  • On Vaishakh Amavasya, donate shoes, slippers, and umbrellas to those in need.
  • Light a lamp in front of Lord Hanuman and recite the Sundarkand or Hanuman Chalisa.
  • Donate puja items at a temple, such as incense sticks, ghee, oil, garlands, sweets for offering, kumkum, gulal, and clothes for the deity.
