Narak Chaturdashi 2024 Date And Puja Muhurat
There is some confusion regarding the date of Narak Chaturdashi, similar to Diwali. In fact, the Chaturdashi Tithi of the Krishna Paksha in the month of Kartik will begin on October 30, 2024, at 1:15 PM and will end the next day, October 31, 2024, at 3:52 PM.
On Narak Chaturdashi, lamps for Yamraj are lit during the Pradosh period. Therefore, this year, Narak Chaturdashi will be celebrated on October 30, 2024. However, the Abhyanga bath (Roop Chaudas) is performed in the morning when the Chaturdashi Tithi begins at sunrise.
