BREAKING NEWS: Devendra Mahto Ends Hunger Strike, Continues Protest With Water Intake
Jharkhand student leader Devendra Mahto has ended his complete hunger strike following a conversation with activist Sonam Wangchuk. After Sonam Wangchuk’s advice, Mahto drank water and decided to continue the protest in a modified form. Mahto had been on a hunger strike over student demands related to the JPSC issue, and his health had reportedly weakened significantly. Earlier, ABP News reported that he was not in a condition to speak due to weakness. During a video call, Sonam Wangchuk supported the student movement and advised Mahto that hunger strikes can be continued through different methods, including taking water and other basic supplements. The Jharkhand student protest will continue despite the change in the form of the fast.
