As the annual Amarnath Yatra is set to commence from July 3, Divisional Commissioner Ramesh Kumar has appealed to pilgrims to strictly follow security protocols and travel only with the official security convoy. The advisory comes in light of ongoing efforts to ensure a safe and orderly pilgrimage in the sensitive region.

Divisional Commissioner Ramesh Kumar told IANS, "We would like to make an earnest request to all pilgrims, through your medium, as well as to the general public and social organizations, that anyone wishing to undertake the Amarnath Yatra must travel strictly with the official security convoy."
