Kl Rahul suffered a serious thigh injury during Indian Premier League (IPL) match between Royal Challengers Bangalore (RCB) and Lucknow Super Giants (LSG) on May 1.

Sarfaraz Khan has been in exceptional form in domestic cricket. In 37 first-class games, Srfaraz has scored 3,505 runs with an average of 79.65. He has 13 centuries and nine fifties to his name in the format, with the best score of 301*.
