IPL 2021: Rohit Sharma Surpasses MS Dhoni In 'Six-Hitting' Record, Completes 4000 Runs In T20 Cricket As Captain

Before this match, Rohit Sharma had hit 215 sixes.  Dhoni has so far hit 216 sixes in IPL history.  Rohit has now reached number three in the overall list of most sixes hit by any batsman in IPL.  Punjab Kings' Chris Gayle   (351) currently holds the record for hitting most sixes in the IPL.  AB de Villiers has hit 237 sixes. Rohit Sharma (4004 runs) is at number four among the batsmen who have scored the most runs as captain in T20 cricket. RCB legend Virat Kohli, who has scored 6044 T20 runs as captain so far, tops this list.
