According to a report by PTI, The Banking Regulation (Amendment) Bill, 2020, which will bring cooperative banks under the supervision of the RBI was passed by a voice vote in Rajya Sabha. Deputy Chairman of the Rajya Sabha Harivansh Narayan Singh also offered tea to suspended MPs at the premises of Parliament House as observed their sit-in protest. According to reports, all the suspended MPs called for a sit-in protest at Parliament premises on Monday and continued past midnight receiving the support of a large number of opposition leaders.
