The Congress leader also emphasised the importance of India-UK relations in creating more job opportunities and protecting Indian democracy.

"India's democracy is a worldwide public good. India is large enough that if democracy is harmed in India, it is weakened globally. India's democracy is three times the size of that in the United States and Europe, and its collapse would be a major defeat for democracy worldwide," Gandhi was quoted as saying by the PTI.
