Eid-al-Fitr dawned on UAE on April 10 itself following the sighting of the moon, and celebrations went on in full swing as people visited mosques and engaged in worship. Here is a glimpse of it.

The Eid prayer is a collective act of worship comprising two units (raka’ah). In the first unit, the Imam guides the worshippers in multiple takbirs before reciting Surah Al-Fatiha and another chapter from the Quran, while, in the second unit, multiple takbirs are recited.
