The summit will be held at the revamped India Trade Promotion Organisation (ITPO) complex, formerly known as Pragati Maidan. This sprawling complex, constructed at a cost of Rs 2,700 crores and spread across 123 acres, houses the convention centre that will be the epicentre of G20 meetings. Speaking to ABP Live, ITPO Chairman & Managing Director (CMD) Pradeep Singh Kharola revealed that the venue would be handed over to the Ministry of External Affairs around August 4-5. The complex is adorned with paintings, carpets, and showcases sourced from various corners of the country. Rajasthan miniatures grace the walls, depicting vibrant forests and bustling cities. Carpets from Uttar Pradesh and Kashmir add to the intricate decor.
