IN PICS: Air India Express Plane Crash At Kerala's Kozhikode Airport Leaves 19 Dead

A child rescued from the crash site. Directorate General of Civil Aviation (DGCA) confirmed the incident saying "Air India Express AXB1344, B737 Dubai to Calicut, person on board 191, visibility 2000 meter, heavy rain, after landing Runway 10, continue running to the end of the runway and fell down in the valley and broke down into two pieces."(PTI Photo)(PTI07-08-2020_000248B)

As per the reports, the Air India Express flight veered off the runway after overshooting and fuselsge split into two parts during landing at Karipur Airport at around 7.45 pm on Friday.
