From horror-comedy to sci-fi epics and socially relevant dramas, here’s the list of the top 10 trending movie searches on Google in 2024.

Stree 2: Leading the list was Amar Kaushik’s horror-comedy Stree 2, starring Rajkummar Rao and Shraddha Kapoor, which became the second highest-grossing Indian film and the top-grossing Hindi film of the year.

Kalki 2898 AD:Close on its heels was Nag Ashwin’s epic sci-fi actioner Kalki 2898 AD, featuring Prabhas, Deepika Padukone, Amitabh Bachchan, and Kamal Haasan. The film not only became the highest-grossing Indian movie of 2024 but also secured its place as the third highest-grossing Telugu film in history.

12th Fail: Vikrant Massey’s critically acclaimed 12th Fail, which earned praise for its inspiring narrative and ranked third.

Laapataa Ladies: Following it was Laapataa Ladies, India's official entry to the Oscars, securing the fourth spot with its global acclaim.
