Kai Po Che Turns 8: Sushant Singh Rajput's On-Screen Sister Amrita Puri Remembers Late Actor, Says 'You Live...'

'Kai Po Che', which marked the Bollywood debut of late Sushant Singh Rajput, completed eight years of release on Monday (February 22). The star cast got emotional while penning their thoughts for Sushant and the film on social media.

Amrita Puri, who played the role of Sushant's on-screen sister Vidya, shared a heartfelt post for the cast and crew of 'Kai Po Che'. She also remembered SSR while posting the note on Instagram. She ended her post with the words, "Sushant, You live on in our memories."

Amrita Puri and Rajkummar Rao's sizzling chemistry grabbed several eyeballs in 'Kai Po Che'. The 'Aisha' actress shared a still from the film along with the caption, "Mangal bela aayi! I can’t believe it’s been 8 years since Kai Po Che. A film I’m proud to have been a part of. A fun fact - my mom still has the music from KPC as her caller tune. I still remember the first time I heard the soundtrack on your headphones @gattukapoor Sending much love to the cast and crew of this special film."

Rajkummar Rao, who played the role of Govind Patel in 'Kai Po Che', wrote, "A film that allowed the actor in me to grow, to be more empathetic, celebrating the 8 years of Kai Po Che. As if it was yesterday when Sushant, Amit and I were shooting for the film. You are being missed my dearest Sushant Singh Rajput."

Amit Sadh aka Omkar Shastri reposted Rao's post and wote. "Something we cherish for life and some void." Sushant Singh Rajput bagged the Best Male Debut for his performance as Ishaan in 'Kai Po Che' at the Filmfare Awards 2013.

Abhishek Kapoor, who directed 'Kai Po Che', posted an heartwarming note on social media to celebrate eight successful years of his film.
