New Delhi: Most women are fond of dense, long hair. Not sure how many women out there acheive their long hair goals, but surprisingly, Sidakdeep Singh Chahal- a Sikh boy of 15 did! Yes, since the rules of Sikhism, forbid men to cut their hair, this young boy kept growing his hair and with the help of his mother has maintained it quite well.

His hair is 146cm long which he washes twice a week, dedicating at least an hour each time to washing, drying, and brushing it. "It would take an entire day if it wasn’t for the help of my mother," he said to Guinness World Records.
Sidakdeep usually ties his hair in a bun and covers it with a dastār (turban), as is customary for Sikhs. Surprisingly, none of his family members have hair as long as him. "Many of my relatives were shocked to see how long it was," he told Guinness.
He revealed that when he told his friends and family about his hair setting a world record, some of them were in disbelief for they thought that he was pulling their leg and it took a bit of proof to convince them.
He also told that as a child, he was sometimes teased by his friends when he was outside drying his hair, which he did not like.
"I did not like that my hair was made fun of," Guinness quoted Sidakdeep as saying, who now considers his hair to be a part of his identity. "Believe it or not but my entire personality is not based around my hair," he joked.
