BJP Leaders Arrive At Party Office For Crucial Meet As Saffron Camp Remains Tight-Lipped On CM Face

The BJP, which has remained tight-lipped on the CM's face, will announce the leader of the Delhi Legislature Party shortly. Several party leaders and MLAs have arrived at the party office for the crucial meet.

The BJP leaders and the party's central observers have arrived at the Delhi BJP office to elect the Leader of the Delhi Legislature Party.

Party leaders, who arrived at the BJP state office, said that the announcement regarding the next Chief Minister of Delhi will be made shortly. 

BJP MLAs Satish Upadhyay, Parvesh Verma, Harish Khurana, Raj Kumar Bhatia, Kapil Mishra, Vijender Gupta and party leader Ashok Goyal were among those who arrived at the party office for the crucial meet. The crucial meeting where the CM's name will be finalised was set to begin at 7 pm. However, the meeting is yet to start.

The BJP, which has remained tight-lipped on the CM's face, will announce the leader of the Delhi Legislature Party shortly. Sources said that the party is likely to make the Chief Minister from among the 48 MLAs who have won the Delhi Legislative Elections.

Ahead of the BJP meeting, BJP MLA Raj Kumar Bhatia said that the important thing is that the BJP government is being formed after 27 years and added that 48 candidates are there for CM post.

Meanwhile, the preparations are underway at the Ramlila Maidan in the national capital, where the swearing-in of the next CM will take place at 12:30 pm on Thursday.

Several names are going rounds for the CM face, including Rekha Gupta, Vijendra Gupta, Parvesh Verma and Majinder Singh Sirsa.
