VIRAL SACH: Was an Uttarakhand candidate campaigning with a sword in his hand?

New Delhi: With Uttarakhand elections around the corner, a video of one of the candidates; Suresh Jain has landed in the public forum, where he can be seen with a group of people with swords in their hands, trying to lure the people and to woo them in their favour.   In the shocking video, a group of men who are being said to be followers of Jain can be heard raising slogans with swords in their hands and thereafter pass the sword to the candidate, who thereafter can be seen swinging the sword in air. ABP News tried to get into the detail to find the truth behind the video and its timing. On probing it was found that the video was legit but was recorded last year on Muharram. The story behind the video has thus turned out to be false.
