Kawasaki India has launched the 2019 iteration of its middleweight ADV, the Versys 650. This new model comes with a new two-tone colour scheme, which Kawasaki calls “Metallic Moondust Grey / Metallic Flat Spark Black”. The bodywork comes in a combination of grey and black with bold ‘Versys’ stickers across the fuel tank. There are no changes apart from the colour scheme. Even the price has remained the same, at Rs 6.69 lakh. The Versys 650 is more of a road-biased adventure tourer whereas its rival, the Suzuki V-Strom 650XT (Rs 7.46 lakh), is a more offroad-centric ADV (both prices ex-showroom).

It also gets uprated adjustable inverted front forks and a preload-adjustable rear monoshock. The 300mm front petal discs and the 250mm rear petal disc come with standard dual-channel ABS too.
