Youth Fired Upon At Bihar Station For Objecting To Men 'Cutting' Ticket Queue
A young person was wounded during the shooting incident.
Unidentified individuals are accused of shooting at a man who objected to cutting the line for Tatkal tickets at the Bihta railway station in Patna on Sunday, injuring him, news agency ANI reported.
On Sunday, there was a sizable line at the Bihta train station's ticket window for Tatkal tickets. During this time, there was a fight amongst the crowds about who would maintain the line at the counter, and unknown assailants started shooting.
A young person was wounded during the shooting incident.
Mudrish Khan, a 25-year-old inhabitant of Bihta, was the victim, according to Mukesh Kumar, an official at the Bihta railway police station.

After the incident, he was taken right away to the hospital.
“The statement of the injured youth has been taken. A case has been registered against unknown criminals,” the officer was quoted by ANI in its report.

An investigation is underway.
Earlier this month, a merchant was killed when two gunmen opened fire at a store in the Karbigahia wholesale market outside Patna Junction, IANS reported.

Both shooters were apprehended by those present, who then beat them before turning them over to the police. A food seller from Jakkanpur named Rahul Kumar has been identified as the dead.
He was shot in the chest while on his way to his business, according to eyewitnesses. The man was carried to Paras Hospital in Raja Bazar, where medical staff pronounced him dead.
