West Bengal Chief Minister Mamata Banerjee was seen enjoying and dancing during a mass wedding ceremony in Falakata of Alipurduar district. In a viral video shared by news agency ANI, Mamata was seen hand in hand with other tribal dancers at the wedding ceremony.
The video shows the Trinamool Congress (TMC) chief joyfully enjoying the event as she leaves one dance group and again goes to join another. As per reports, she also distributed gifts to the newlywed couples at the wedding.

This is not for the first time that Mamata Banerjee has been spotted dancing at such events. Days back, the Chief Minister was seen breaking into a dance with a tribal musician Basanti Hembram during a government event in Kolkata.

Meanwhile, at a poll rally Chief Minister also took a pot shot at the Centre over the Budget announcement for tea workers alleging that the ruling Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) is ahead in making announcements but does not fulfil their promises.
Banerjee also took a dig at Finance Minister Nirmala Sitharaman and said that she has made the promise for tea workers in her speech this year, but TMC government in West Bengal has already implemented schemes for the welfare of the tea workers.
Even on Monday, TMC supremo vehemently criticised Union Budget 2021 presented by Sitharaman in Parliament, calling it to be anti-farmers, anti-people and anti-country. She claimed that the Budget would impact farmers and poor people across the country.
"The budget is not in favour of the farmers and poor people of the country. What kind of budget is this? It's a fake budget. Bhekdhari sarkarer fakedari budget (It is a fake budget of the deceptive government," Banerjee said on the occasion of virtual inauguration of a bridge in north Bengal's Siliguri.
