The Badami Cave Temples in Karnataka dates back to the 6th century. Carved on sandstone cliffs, these four caves showcase intricate sculptures, large pillars, and sculptures of Hindu, Jain, and Buddhist deities. The most famous is Cave 1 that is dedicated to Lord Shiva and features a stunning Nataraja sculpture. Cave 3 is devoted to Lord Vishnu and boasts exquisite carvings of his avatars.
