New Delhi: On the 72nd Independence Day of India, Delhi Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal addressed a gathering at city's Chhatrasal Stadium, where he hoisted the National Flag and sang a patriotic song. In a video shared by ANI, Kejriwal can be heard, singing 'Hum Honge Kaamyab' as the audience listens in silence.

Earlier today, Aam Admi Party's senior leader Ashutosh resigned, in a major jolt to the party. This comes after Ashutosh, who has been the right hand of the party has been at the back seat and could be seen missing at major party events. Sources tell that the leader was upset from not being consulted at major events by the party and also for not being given Rajya Sabha ticket by the party. After the incident, Adhikari reached the police station, where he remained seated in protest for several hours, demanding action against those responsible. The TMC, however, has not yet issued an official response to the allegations.
