Uttar Pradesh: Passenger bus catches fire on Agra-Lucknow expressway, 5 killed
The unfortunate incident happened on Sunday night when the driver lost control over the vehicle and the bus collided with the divider. After the collision, the bus caught fire which engulfed the entire vehicle in no time.
Noida: An air conditioned passenger bus ferrying on the Agra-Lucknow expressway caught fire leaving five passengers dead and couple of other injured.
The unfortunate incident happened on Sunday night when the driver lost control over the vehicle and the bus collided with the divider. After the collision, the bus caught fire which engulfed the entire vehicle in no time.
One of the travelers reached out to the fire brigade team which reached the spot and doused the flames. The total number of passengers travelling in the bus is not yet clear but four of them died on the spot.
The person who sustained burn injuries was shifted to a nearby hospital for medical treatment. The Lucknow bound roadways bus had left from Delhi’s Anand Vihar bus stop.
