Besides the RSS office, Jaish-e-Mohammed members also conducted a recce of Dr Hedgewar Smriti Temple complex.

According to sources, a youth from Jammu and Kashmir came to Nagpur in July, 2021, and tried to conduct a recce of the Sangh's office.

The youth was recently caught with a grenade near the Pumpor Police Station area in Kashmir. Sources said the information was revealed by the youth during interrogation. Efforts are being made to get more information from him.

Earlier this week, top Jaish-e-Mohammed commander Mir Owaisi was killed by the security forces in the Pulwama area of Jammu and Kashmir. Two other JeM terrorists were also gunned down by the forces.
