Kids Among 3 Die After Drinking Tea Laced With Insecticide In UP's Mainpuri
Forensic experts say that the tea made by the daughter-in-law was laced with insecticide, which killed the three and one was seriously ill.
New Delhi: Three people including two children lost their lives after consuming tea mixed with insecticide on Thursday in Uttar Pradesh' Mainpuri district. The children were aged six and five. All were rushed to the hospital immediately, where they were declared dead.

Another person had fallen ill from drinking the tea and was admitted to the hospital for treatment.
According to the forensic team, the prima facie probe revealed that the accused woman use insecticide used in paddy fields instead of tea leaves. Family sources said that the daughter-in-law accidentally put pesticide in the tea, IANS reported.
The police reached the spot and initiated investigations, they told the media that they have taken hold of the utensils in which the tea was prepared and have sent it to be examined.
