RRB-NTPC Students Protest: Political Parties Blame Each Other For Protests That Led To Arson In Bihar
RRB-NTPC Exam: There is a massive protest in Bihar against alleged irregularities in the Railway Recruitment Board examination.
RRB-NTPC Exam: Several student organisations, including the All India Students' Association (AISA), have called for a Bihar bandh today to protest against the alleged irregularities in the Railway Recruitment Board examination. The protests have been going on in different districts of Bihar since this morning, which has got the support of many parties, including Mahagathbandhan.
While some students created a ruckus near the Science College in Patna's Ashok Rajpath, others blocked the road near the Bhikhana Pahari area and burnt tyres. At the same time, in Supaul, the supporters of Jan Adhikar Party reached the railway station to make the Bihar bandh a success and stopped the passenger train from Saharsa to Raghopur. Slogans were also raised against the central government during this period.
BJP Calls It A Political Conspiracy
The BJP has called it a political conspiracy. BJP leader Sushil Modi said there are no students anywhere in the Bihar bandh. It has people from political parties. It is an appeal to the students not to be misled by anyone. He said "When we spoke to the Union Railway Minister yesterday, the Railway Minister assured us that there is no need for another exam. There will be just one exam. The Railway Minister has also formed a committee. There is no point in the protest now anymore.
He added, "It is an appeal to the railways and the Bihar government that the students who have come to the track are not criminals. There should not be any punitive action against them. Now there are no students in the protest. The common students who came on the street on the 24th and 25th are not there today. Right now there are people of student organizations of political parties. When the government is providing solutions to their problem then why is there a need for protest?"
Pappu Yadav Says, BJP Is Trying To Involve Students
Jan Adhikar Party president and former MP Pappu Yadav said, "Sushil Modi is confusing students by making false claims about solving the problem. If students are targeted or if there is any lathi charge, we will lay down our lives." The student wing of Pappu Yadav's party JAP blocked the road in front of Patna Science College. As well as there were protests on the road where tyres were burnt.
RJD Supports Bihar Bandh
RJD MLA and former Bihar minister Awadh Bihari Chaudhary also took to the streets in support of the students during the Bihar bandh in Siwan. During this time, hundreds of RJD workers were seen on the road with him and all of them called for a successful Bihar bandh. Effects of bandh were also seen in Saharsa. Here in support of the students, RJD workers raised slogans against the central government and there was arson as well. RJD corporator Tahir, Gautam Krishna, former MP Lovely Anand and several other workers were present in the protest.
Khan Sir Appeals To Students To Maintain Peace
At the same time, this morning, Khan sir had appealed to the students not to support the Bihar bandh under any circumstances. Khan sir had released the video in this regard. He talked about what all has been said until now and what actions will the Railway ministry or board take. Now that the matter has been taken seriously and so the students need not be disturbed.
Demands Of The Students
The protesting students are demanding that the results declared should be cancelled by the government and the answer sheets should be evaluated again. The students accused the police of forcibly pulling out studying students from the lodge and beating them brutally which shows the 'Talibani' attitude of the government.
