Ayodhya Deepotsav 2022: 'Ram is Symbol of Sabka Saath, Sabka Vikas,' Says PM Modi

PM Modi Addresses Ayodhya Deepotsav: "People have to learn as much as they can from Lord Ram, he doesn't leave anyone behind, doesn't turn away from anyone,” Modi said.

Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Sunday stated that Lord Rama is the inspiration for Sabka Saath-Sabka Vikas and the basis of Sabka Vishwas-Sabka Efforts, official Twitter handle of BJP Live posted. PM Modi adderessed Ayodhya Deepotsav 2022, earlier he performed symbolic 'Rajyabhishek' of Lord Shri Ram. 

Modi had previously offered prayers to Ram Lalla at Ram Janmbhoomi in Ayodhya. Modi's visit to Ayodhya comes after a "bhoomi pujan" for the construction of a Ram temple on August 5, 2020.

"In the nectar of independence, a will power like Lord Ram will take the country to new heights. The values that Lord Rama inculcated in his word, in his thoughts, in his rule, in his administration," PM Modi stated. 

“I got the opportunity of Lord Ram's darshan due to his blessings; happy that people across the world watching Deepotsav celebrations in Ayodhya,” Modi added further, ANI reported. 

The Prime Minister went to the makeshift Ram temple and offered prayers to Ram Lalla as soon as he arrived in Ayodhya for the Deepotsav celebrations. He lit an earthen lamp and performed a "aarti".

Modi also said people have to learn as much as they can from Lord Ram.

“Lord Ram doesn't leave anyone behind, doesn't turn away from anyone,” Modi said.

Earlier, Modi was welcomed by governor Anandiben Patel and chief minister Yogi Adityanath. 

During the Deepotsav, five animated tableaux and 11 Ramlila tableaux showcasing dance forms from various states will also be presented.

"The Deepotsav of Ayodhya began six years ago with the guidance and inspiration of Prime Minister Narendra Modi." This UP festival evolved into a national celebration. "It has reached new heights of success today," Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath said on the occasion.
